I think one of the most universal human experiences is feeling alone. You never know it, but theres likely tonnes of people feeling the exact same way. Maybe because you’re feeling completely abandoned. Maybe because you realized you aren’t as self sufficient as you thought. Maybe because you know you should have handled something differently. Or maybe because you aren’t as good as you thought you were. Either way, when u hit tat low point, you have a choice. You can either wallow in self pity or you can suck it up.

Its your call.

The Bro Code

The Bro Code is a list of dos and don’ts for all bros. Some are basic, Bro Code Article 1: Bros before hoes. Some are unbelievably complicated, Bro Code Article 89: The mom of a bro is always off limits but the stepmom of a bro is fair game if she initiates it and is wearing at least 1 article of leopard clothing. And some are just plain disturbing, Bro Code Article 34: Bros cannot make eye contact during a Devil’s 3-way; 2 dudes.

Iron Man

When I first found out that Iron Man was going to be played by Robert Downey Jr, I had my reservations if he was going to be able to pull it off successfully. Robert playing the role as an action superhero is quite a laughable thought. But boy, was I wrong.

Tony Stark has got to be one of Marvel’s most complex characters. Yet, somehow Robert seemed to have hit home run with his performance. Robert managed to play Tony the way I had imagined him to be on screen. The way he walks, talks, and even his obnoxious attitude is acted by Robert so flawlessly that it feels as though he was tailored for the role.

But besides his superb acting, the reason the movie won me over was because of its whole package. It manages to combine humour with a clever plot, awesome CGI and beautiful scenes, betrayal, self realisation and a side dish of romance into one heck of a movie. And the producers really did a good job by peppering the movie with soo many possibilities for a sequel.

But I do have a complain, since when did SHIELD become Strategic Homeland Intervention and Logistics Division?!

Iron Man is top notch cinema material and I can’t wait to see how the story progresses over the next few years.

Superhero Movie

$10/tix on a weekend is daylight robbery. Just me and Wang watching Superhero Movie is enough to buy 3 tickets on a Tuesday. Tat is Complain Numero Uno.

Superhero Movie is the latest spoof movie since the horrific Meet the Spartan. The movie title is pretty much self explanatory, it features a plethora of Superheroes, from Spiderman of Marvel to Batman from DC. The movie is quite well paced, firing gags at such a rapid pace that I can’t help but laugh along at almost all of the jokes. But I’ve gotta admit that some of the jokes were tasteless and fell flat. Like how they made fun of Stephen Hawking, was taking it a little bit too far. I loved Leslie Nielsen and his classic Naked Gun series, he shows who’s the best when it comes to gag movies. Biggest disappointment was when the movie was censored skipping some parts leaving the both of us hanging feeling lost.

Not to say that the movie is excellent, but it compares well considering the disappointment Meet the Spartans was.

8/10 Watch on a weekday. Not worth $10.

Self Inflicted Racism

I’m a true blue hard core racist. There’s just something about me against my own ppl. I meant no offence but that’s my general feel. These days theres just more of the “Mats” than the actual Melayu. Which I feel very disturbed about. Not saying I’m a good Melayu, I’m one of the worst Melayus around, kinda hypocritical but at least I dun become rubbish of society.

I can’t stand Mat Rempits.
They think their bikes are cool. Go fuck spider la you. Using their motorbike as a pick up tool and impress girls. Please la ah, not when your struggling to meet ends meet. So damn cliche. And its a fact that most of you are desperate and horny. Even an 8-yr old would know that.

Then there’s the Mat Reps.
They can be likened to the Mat Rempits, cept they have no motor. They are like an unstoppable plague. They seem to spoil everything. From the music they listen to, the clothes and labels they wear and to their chill out areas. They think they so damn cool and happening la, travelling in their packs, handphone blasting out typical Mat Rep songs. Bleddy nuisance.

If there’s a Mat Rep, there’s sure to be a Minah Rep not far behind.
Minahs can be likened as flies to shit. They hover near them all the time. I really can’t stand Minahs. Its already bad enough that you have stripped urself of every little bit of dignity by being one, then theres those who take it a step further by thinking they are hot and pretty when they are fat and ugly. They wear pieces of cloth that exposes 80% of their unproportionate body parts and put on thick slabs of clay they call “make up”, thinking that it’d make them look prettier, but not when you look like Cher la. Why don’t you save all that money on make up and go get proper clothes. Be less of an eyesore will you and start gaining back your dignity.

So there you have it, the Rejects of our Malay Society. Its sad, but they are a growing number. They act big, talk big and saunter big. Whatever la, bottomline, you all merepek la…
